What is the history of ROTEN & UNITEN?

ROTEN was founded in 1945 in Milan by Carlo and Mrs. Fontanella as "LABORATORIO ELETTROMECCANICA DI PRECISIONE Carlo Fontanella." Initially, the company produced metal bellows seals for refrigeration compressors. Over the decades, ROTEN expanded its product range, introducing the patented ROTEN 2 seal in 1957 and the ROTEN 3 seal in 1970. Today, the ROTEN group includes multiple companies specialising in different aspects of seal production and reconditioning, with a team of over 200 people and advanced manufacturing capabilities.
